Dr Marta Garrido
Dr Marta Garrido contributes a range of analytical techniques employed in cognitive neuroscience.
Specifically, she is using electroencephalography, functional magnetic resonance imaging, psychophysics and computational modelling to understand how humans form predictions, make decisions, and how these two functions are shaped by attention. Her team investigates these processes in the healthy brain as well as in the brains of people with psychosis and anxiety disorders.
She is based at the Queensland Brain Institute and the School of Mathematics and Physics at the University of Queensland in Brisbane.
